What is AIT queue

Advanced Internet Tool queue contains URLs that AIT will concurrently download without operator assistant. Queue is familiar to product called Reget. Queue will obey exclusions that you set in preferences. It will run no more than X concurrent downloads, it will not overload your dialup connection due to server overload feature.

What does this images on left side of queue, means ?

How to add downloads to queue

Downloads are added from clipboard (if clipboard monitoring is enabled) or user can manually add it from Queue menu. Click with your right mouse button on place where downloads will be. Popup menu will appear.

Keyboard shortcut for this action is Insert, just press this key when queue is an active window, and "Add URL" dialog will appear.

Toolbar buttons and what does they do.

Toolbar buttons are controlling queue. This is a screen shot of fully maximized queue toolbar

OK, now let me describe what actions you can perform from upper toolbar, I will describe it from left to right.
First button will allow you to start/stop selected download. If more than one or no downloads is selected then no action will be performed when user clicks on this button
Second button will allow you to enable/disable clipboard monitoring. AIT thinks that URLs is strings that matches following criterias: stings than begins with 'http://', 'ftp://', 'ftp', 'www' .
Third and Fourth button will allow you to move download Up or Down in queue, so it will be started sooner or later.
'Active downloads' is number of active downloads that will run concurrently.
'Max connections to one server' is maximum number of connections to one server, this feature will help you to prevent your dialup connections from overload. This feature is implemented for servers that doesn`t allow more than one connection from one IP.

Now I`ll describe what you can do with lower toolbar. With this toolbar you can control AIT behavior when all transfers are done and queue is empty.

'Wait N minutes' this value can control how long AIT will wait before performing any of selected actions.
Action Meaning
'Do nothing' as is, no action(s) is performed
'Disconnect' Will disconnect any active RAS connection. Before disconnection AIT will query user to confirm or abort disconnection if no user response is received in 30 second then disconnection will be performed
'Shutdown' Will shut down your windows session. If you have ATX computer then it will be turned off.
'Exit AIT' AIT will terminate itself.

Note:You can select more than one action to perform. For example you can check 'Exit AIT' and 'Disconnect' boxes and AIT will disconnect from Internet and then it`ll terminate itself

'View log' , what`s the hell is this ?

'View log' action will display Log window. It`s useful for ratio or warez servers. These servers may require you to go to web page where password is located. When log window is opened below you will see list box there AIT automatically extracts URLs and E-mail addresses detected in remote server responses. Then you can select any e-mail address or URL and copy it to clipboard with your right mouse button.
